You are requesting to opt out of the Merchant Trust Initiative.
Please review the following terms prior to submission to ensure you are removed from the program.
You have been enrolled in the Merchant Trust Initiative (MTI), which assists clients to improve
cybersecurity, protect their data and meet their Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard
(PCI DSS) obligations.
You have requested to withdraw from the initiative.
In doing so, you acknowledge that:
eWAY has provided you with information about the initiative, PCI DSS and the risks of cyber attack;
Meeting PCI DSS is a mandatory obligation of accepting credit card payments, and a contractual
requirement of your agreement with us;
There are obligations you have that remain, even if you outsource payment processing to eWAY
or another party;
In leaving the MTI, you will not have access to the tools and support that are part of this initiative;
If you do not maintain PCI DSS compliance and suffer a data breach, you may be subject to fines
from the Card Schemes, have restrictions placed on your payment processing, have your account
cancelled and/or be added to a list of banned merchants; and
You acknowledge that you may also be subject to penalties for breaches of privacy laws and regulations.
You agree to do the following:
You will complete a Self Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) annually and implement the 12 PCI DSS requirements;
Report to us any account data breaches immediately;
Upon request, provide evidence of compliance with PCI DSS.
